SIZE: Trey has very good size for a 2026 Dual Threat QB at 6’2” 185 lbs. A tall platform, able to survey the field. He plays with strong confidence in his game. Works fluidly from a pocket passer to a running QB. Excellent arm strength and good vision downfield.
ACCURACY:
Trey's throws are in-line with his receivers. The ball comes across with high velocity and sharp precision. Very good instincts as he displays the anticipation and timing of his receivers routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
High velocity throws that get to his receivers in a hurry. Dangerous vertical passing game, allowing for things to open up elsewhere.
RELEASE:
A left handed passer. An over the top delivery that comes across in a hurry. Generates increased momentum upon release.
THROW ON RUN:
An athletic QB who’s very dangerous on the run. Very good vision with the ability to work through his progressions while locating a target.
FOOTWORK:
A quick first step as he works within his set up. Good quickness and speed. Runs a 4.6/40. A very capable dual threat in running situations, taking it in while breaking through the secondary.
POISE:
A very confident QB who can control the flow of the game with his playmaking abilities. Good patience in the backfield as he waits for his receivers to break on their routes.
POCKET PRESENCE:
He does a nice job working around traffic, creating additional space for himself. He’s very agile, able to swing in either direction. Good read on incoming pressure.
DECISION MAKING:
Great instincts as he works through his progressions, from primary to secondary outlets. An intelligent QB who does a nice job locating opportunities downfield.
TOUCH:
Makes the right adjustments to the velocity of his delivery, creating a softer release.
